
Kim is the founder and owner of Believe It and Achieve It, LLC. She earned her Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology from the University of South Florida. With over 20 years of pediatric experience in private practice, hospitals, and home health settings, Kim is dedicated to helping children and families thrive. She has advanced training in sensory integration, Interactive Metronome, and other therapeutic approaches, and holds certifications in health coaching, autism spectrum disorder, and ADHD support. Kim founded Believe It and Achieve It to create a welcoming, child-centered environment where kids can grow with confidence.

Kaleigh is a licensed Occupational Therapist with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Evangel University. She has worked with children in home health, private practice, and school settings, and is certified in Interactive Metronome. Kaleigh is enthusiastic about helping kids reach their goals through meaningful, play-based activities. She has a special interest in supporting children with backgrounds of abuse or neglect, as well as exploring strategies to improve sensory processing and motor planning. Outside of work, Kaleigh enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband and two dogs, tackling puzzles, and cheering on Tampa sports teams.

Tara is a state-licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida. She is also certified in Elementary Education and Early Steps. With over 15 years of experience in pediatric private practice, home healthcare, and school settings, Tara brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her work. She is enthusiastic about connecting with each child in ways that honor their individuality and support their growth. Special interests in the field include literacy-based disorders, articulation, and autism spectrum disorder. Outside of work, Tara loves spending time at the beach with family and friends.

Krista is a state-licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. She also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from UCF. Krista has over 10 years of experience in pediatric private practice, working with children with a wide range of communication needs. She has training and experience with Gestalt Language Learners, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and literacy-based difficulties. She values developmentally appropriate, child-centered, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches to support meaningful growth.

Ximena is a state-licensed and ASHA-certified bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Las Américas in Panama and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from University of Valle. She has completed training in PROMPT and Gestalt Language Processing. With over nine years of pediatric experience, Ximena is invested in providing play-based, neurodiversity-affirming care and building empowering partnerships with families. She strives to make therapy functional, meaningful, and fun, helping children gain confidence and connect with others. Outside of work, Ximena enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, traveling, dancing, and reading.

Josie is a state-licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Augustana College. She has over four years of experience in pediatric outpatient settings, working with children with a variety of communication needs. Josie is committed to child-led therapy, tailoring sessions to each child’s interests and strengths. Outside of work, she loves to stay active by walking and lifting.

Margaret is a state-licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Samford University. She has experience working in the school system and has a particular interest in AAC. Margaret is passionate about child-led therapy, tailoring sessions to each child’s preferences and strengths. Away from work, she loves knitting, crocheting, and staying active.

Sheila is a state-licensed Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow working toward her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). She holds a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Florida State University. Sheila has pediatric clinical experience in both school and private practice settings and holds a certification in Interdepartmental Developmental Disabilities through her work with toddlers with developmental delays. She has a special interest in Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI) and focuses on creating playful, engaging sessions that foster communication growth. She fills her free time with playing beach volleyball and gardening.

Jen is a state-licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and certifications as a Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) and Fitness Nutrition Specialist (NASM-FNS). Jen has experience working with children in both private practice and school settings and currently works full-time with students in pre-K through 8th grade. Outside of work, she finds balance through kayaking, hiking, paddle boarding, camping, and trips to the beach.

Elyse is a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with an Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy from South University, Tampa. During her fieldwork in the school system, she discovered a joy for tailoring therapy sessions to each child’s unique personality and strengths. Elyse loves helping kids grow through creative, individualized approaches. She is passionate about sensory processing, primitive reflex integration, vision therapy and working with anatomical abnormalities. Outside of the clinic, she likes paddle boarding, surfing, fishing, and snorkeling.

Brylie is a licensed Occupational Therapist with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Radford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from East Carolina University. She has experience working with children in both outpatient and school settings and is committed to incorporating sensory integration into her sessions. Brylie loves helping kids grow and succeed through play and meaningful activities. In her free time, she is happiest at the beach, exploring new coffee shops, and taking yoga classes.

Makenna is a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with a degree in Occupational Therapy from Advent Health University. She also holds certifications in Personal Training, Therapeutic Listening, and Astronaut Training. Makenna has over 5 years of pediatric experience in both schools and private practice. Makenna has completed additional training in the areas of feeding, oral motor skills, handwriting, and primitive reflex integration. She is an advocate for play-based interventions, mental health, and the use of sensory modalities. Makenna enjoys spending time with her pets, Loon and Loretta, long walks on Bayshore, Pilates, and trying new restaurants with her husband.

Judi is a licensed Physical Therapist with a degree in Physical Therapy from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Middlebury College. She also completed Doctorate coursework at Temple University in Motor Development and Motor Learning. She has over 45 years of pediatric experience across early intervention, school, and outpatient settings. Judi specializes in seating and positioning, assistive technology, splinting, and casting. She has advanced training in Kinesio Taping, Microcurrent Point Stimulation, Feldenkrais, Balametrics, and is also a certified Personal Health Coach. Judi is passionate about helping children move, play, and explore their world with confidence. Outside of work, she can be found cooking, crafting, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Office Staff

Isabel is the Office Manager at Believe It and Achieve It and has been with the clinic since 2020. She is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish. Isabel values the strong relationships built with families, and making the office feel like a part of the community.

Esta has been a member of the office team since 2023 and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She enjoys connecting with families and their children each day and finds it incredibly rewarding to witness children’s growth and progress.

Vanessa has been part of the office team since 2023 and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She loves that each day brings new challenges and opportunities and finds joy in watching children work toward and achieve their goals.

Latricia is the Billing Manager at Believe It and Achieve It and has been a member of the team since 2021. She is passionate about keeping the billing process proactive, and helping families to understand their invoices in order to build trust and reduce stress.
